Family and Adult Nature Programs

Are you and your family interested in learning more about neighborhood birds? Join us as we search for birds in the lovely WestCrest Park in West Seattle.
Monday April 14th 9:00am-10:30am
Saturday April 19th 9:00am-10:30am
$15 per participant (per session)
Kids under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

We will be learning about the calls, appearance, and behavior of different birds, including migration, feeding, and nesting habits. Bring your own binoculars or borrow ours. Bird guides will also be provided for use.

Come to beautiful Lincoln Park in West Seattle for a lovely late afternoon stroll through the woods as we identify trees and native plants. We will learn about some of the culinary and medicinal uses the plants can provide*, as well as some of their symbolic, historical, and cultural significance.

Join us for a fun nature walk filled with storytelling and hands-on experiential learning.
*Harvesting is not allowed in Seattle Parks.
